XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX DTset XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX A powerful graphic Date&Time setter and browser for the HP49 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- DTset opens a screen with a running analog clock and a paging calendar. The MODE key toggles Date setting and Time setting mode. The actual mode is shown in the left upper corner, SetD, SetT, resp. In the first mode one may browse through the calendar with the Arrow keys. LS (Leftshift) and RS (Rightshift) browses through the month, and with +,- through the years. ALPHA actualizes the current date. The actual Date is set with STO so that one may calmly browse through the calendar without loosing the actual date. This is very useful for several purposes. Key I (TOOL) sets an information screen on key functions in this and and the time setting mode. CANCEL aborts as usual. Any other key turns the calulator off. The running clock and paging calendar is resumed at the next turn-on. This autostart feature makes the 49 an ideal Date and Time informator. In time setting mode LeftArrow and RightArrow decrese and increse the current time by 1_s. UpArrow and DownArrow decrese and increse the time by 0.1_s. This allows a very precise time setting. + and - increse and decrese by 1_min, and LS (RS) decrese (increse) the time by 1_hour. This is ideal for DST (Daylight Saving Time) switching. Time setting is immediately realized while Date setting is to confirm with STO. ALPHA actualizes the date in both modes. We suggest to assign DTset or its code to a key, e.g. to leftshift-hold Time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wolfgang Rautenberg - raut@math.fu-berlin.de - www.math.fu-berlin.de/~raut NOTE: DTset obsolates ACC which allows a rescricted calendar paging only.
